The family moved to Hamilton, New York in 1950. They moved from Albion to Rochester in 1959. Jimmy attended # 9 school and Benjamin Franklin High. Jimmy was an employee at Kodak in the late 1970's, he worked there until he got sick. He then worked at Tool & Die, Mt. Hope Cemetery and a cleaning company until he was no longer able to work. He was straightforward, hardworking, and focused-driven. He would always encourage us to do the right thing. He was a no nonsense type of guy and he was all about taking care of his business. Jimmy was a very private guy. He didn't really want anyone in his business.
He was a proud man. Jimmy loved listening to music especially Gospel on Sunday mornings with WDKX and oldies but goodies. He had a love for his cars and you could tell by the way he kept them clean. He was a well-dressed man and inspired many. Jimmy had a love for playing numbers. All you had to do was call him and ask for the lucky number and he would give it to you. He will greatly be missed.
