Obituary for Terry Lee Wyatt

Terry Lee Wyatt was born August 2,1 949 to the late Preston "Buddy" Wyatt and Elsie Mae Benton in Colquitt Georgia/Tampa Florida. In 1957 at the age of 8 years old Terry moved with his family to Rochester New York where he attended #27 school, East High School and graduated from the Family Learning Center. Terry was a person who believed in working and providing. He worked for U of R as a cook and then Xerox for 15 years, retiring after 20 years with Key Systems in 2020.

Terry took pride in cooking and loved to feed those who enjoyed his meals. He was a stay-at-home kind of person but if you stop through it was certain you will get a good laugh. He wasn't much of a person to be entertained but he had no problem entertaining you if you came through. Terry's passion was going fishing and spending time at Seneca Park. He also loved spending time with the family and his unforgettable times with his brothers. Terry was a man of the good old times; he loved going through his record collection from time to time and listening to his music while out riding in a car with Verna. Besides working on his cars, Terry was a die-hard fan of the Giants and really enjoyed taking care of his animals. Terry not only loved cooking, but he also took pride in his garden. If you ever tasted his greens, then you'll understand why.

Terry married Verna in 1999 raising a family of 5. Although he had stern ways, he was a very good Father and provider. Terry didn't like to travel but he grew quite fond of riding out together with Verna. Terry didn't show much of emotion, but he had his own way of expressing his love and that's something we will all hold dear.
