James A. Ross, affectionately known as "boon", was born December 28, 1982. in Rochester, New York, the son of Sheila Ross. James attended the Rochester City Schools.
James was a joy to know. He had a smile that would light up the room when he entered, and his energy was magnetic. His love for his family was boundless. There was nothing you asked of him that
he wouldn't do. He enjoyed life to the fullest and had a positive impact on the lives of those around him. He will be remembered as a great man, father, son, brother, and friend.
He transitioned his earthly life on May 26. 2023. James will be deeply missed by his children: James A. Ross Jr. (Lil Doon), Loegan Ross and Imani Ross; his mother, Sheila Ross; sisters: AshleyRoss, Peachez Ross and Schwanda Lewis-Phillips; nephews:Tajhz Ross. Avon Ross, Bradley Ross, and Mitch Ross; niece,Mackenzie Ross, and a host of close cousins and friends.
