Obituary for Linda Greene

Linda was born in Savannah, GA on August 25, 1952, to Josephine Overstreet and Edward Roundtree. Linda spent much of her early life with her Grandmother Pearl whom she loved dearly.

When Linda grew older, she relocated to the Bronx, New York where she graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School. Linda was a hard-working woman and had various jobs such as a nanny, receptionist, and telephone operator at Bell Corporation.

Linda relocated to Rochester, New York where she settled down and expanded her family. Linda always wanted the best for her family and eventually moved to Brockport, New York to provide a better education for her children. Linda dedicated her life to raising her three children – one of her most significant accomplishments.

Linda has always been a servant of the Lord. She was a member of God’s Holy Temple #3 in Brockport, New York for many years and served as a faithful and committed missionary.

Linda leaves behind her stepfather Al Overstreet, siblings Larry and Rena; children: Duane, Jessica, and Karla; grandchildren: Niasia, Ja’vier, Mylin, Brylin, Justice, and Denzel JR; along with niece Felicia, nephew Joey, and a host of other relatives and friends.
