Obituary for Maglin Clay

Maglin Bell Clay, named after her paternal grandmother, was called "Mag" and later adopted the nickname "Big Tyme". She was born September 19,1974 to Wilbert and Pearlie Clay in Rochester, New York.


Mag attended Benjamin Franklin High School and later completed her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Although she worked at various jobs, her passion was working in the medical field. A family-orientec' individual, Maglin enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.


Maglin Clay passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the age of 47. She is predeceased by: her father, Wilbert Clay, and a close friend, Shirley Adams. Mag leaves to celebrate her life: her two children, Kareem Johnson and Shyheim Clay; two grandchildren, Ty'Lynn Newkirk-Johnson and Savon Clay; her mother, Pearlie Clay; siblings: Enid (Elijah) Lee Sr. of Bradenton, Florida, Willie Brown (Patricia Cotto) and Michelle Clay; three aunts: Willie Bell Patterson of Bradenton, Florida, Dorothy Howard and Thomasthena Smith; six nephews: Corey and Elijah Jr. of Bradenton, Florida, Denzel, Desmond, Brodrick Jr., and Zymiere; three nieces: lyanla, Naomi, and Amiyah; and a host of other relatives and friends, including two close friends, Jonda Rounds, Theresa Johnson, and a special friend, Derek Cooper.
