Obituary for Samuel Strong

Samuel (Sammy) Strong was born on April 28th, 1955 in Rochester, New York to the late Mr. Charlie and Gerlethea Strong. Sammy received his education at Frederick Douglas. Sammy worked at the Red Wing Stadium doing maintenance work. Sammy enjoyed reading Marvel Comic Books, he loved karate, watching Bruce Lee movies and exercising. Sammy also enjoyed dressing in his colorful outfits, and had a huge love for beautiful cars, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with his loved ones. All in all, we know that Sammy was definitely a lady’s man. Sammy took ill a while back and God called him home on January 6th, 2021. Preceding him in death is his Mother & Father Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Strong; two brothers, Charlie Jr., Strong and Robert (Cody) Strong; Left here to carry on his memories are his three children, two sons Tommy (Shannon) Love, and Kenji Tucker; One Daughter Arnette (Raymond) Scott; Three granddaughters, Mercedece Love, Ajzsa Wise and Arianna Scott, one grandson, Tommy Love II, and Five great-grandchildren; Tyrik Edwards Jr., A’meya Edwards, A’miya Lumpkins, Ley’Ahana Love & Mila Huff. Five brothers; Michael Strong, Mitchell (Lisa) Strong, Ralph (Patty) Strong, Alton Strong and Johnny Bradley. Five Sisters, Ruth Siplin, Myrtle (Michael) Brown, Mary Canty, Shirley Strong and Theresa Strong; One aunt Minnie House. Along with a host of Nieces, Nephew, Cousins, and friends.
