Mr. Valance Hall was born January 2, 1934 in Swainsboro, Georgia. He was the son of Maudine Watson and Tony Hall. He later relocated to Rochester, New York. Possessing a strong work ethic, he was employed as a master welder with Pfaudler, Inc. for over 30 years. Upon retiring, he became an entrepreneur. He was the co-founder of the Falcon Rod and Gun Club, one of the first black-owned gun clubs in the United States.
A man of principles, Valance believed that education and faith were the keys to success. He was a member of the Masons for many years. Valance was united in marriage to Annie Bell Huff. With family as priority, he was a devoted husband and father.
Valance is predeceased by his parents, Maudine Watson and Tony Hall; 2 brothers, Rudolph Sanders and Mack Hall. Having departed this life October 12, 2020 Valance leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Annie Bell Huff Hall; 2 sons, Horace Hall and Anthony Hall; 1 daughter, Dorothy Addison; grandchildren: Yulonda Addison, Gregory Addison, Lashara Maxwell, Rachel Hall, Shannon Bulzone, Ashjuah Hall, Jasmine Hall and Tony Hall; great-grandchildren: Theodore Bulzone, Gabriella Bulzone and Emerson Bulzone, Bella
Hall, Champagne Maxwell, Sydney Bassknight, and Rashawn Reynolds; 2 brothers, George Watson and Horace Hall; 3 sisters: Rose Bishop, Emma Daniels, Evelyn Fields, and a host of other relatives and friends.
