Leslie Renee’ Brown, 57, died October 1, 2020 with her family by her side in Rochester, NY
A wake will be held on Saturday October 10, from 10am-12pm at Metropolitan Funeral Chapels.
She was born June 20, 1963 in Rochester, NY to parents James E. Brown (2020) and Annie Ruth Brown (Ball, 2017)
Leslie spent over 20 years as a supervisor for ABM Janitorial services before leaving when she fell ill. Leslie was a devoted mother and wife who cared for her late husband Michael L. Scurry Sr. until he passed from Cancer in 2017.
Leslie was a practicing Jehovah’s Witness who enjoyed music of all genres and had a special taste for film and television. Leslie was known for her boisterous laugh, her great sense of humor and her genuineness. She will be greatly missed.
Leslie is survived by her sister Clarese Fayette Brown; step-daughter Latasha Holland; son Michael L. Scurry Jr.; daughters Christina R. Scurry and Semone D. Scurry; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She was predeceased by her brother James B. Brown (2016) and sister Brenda L. Brown (2004)
