Obituary for William D. Johnson

William D. Johnson, affectionately called “Boo,” was born at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. He was born June 2, 1973 to Shirley Johnson and William Green III. Boo attended John Marshall High School and earned his G.E.D. in 1991. He was a self-employed freelance Airbrush Artist until his death. Boo enjoyed drawing, graphic arts and designs, video games, and spending time with his family. He had a “gift for gab”, and he would keep you laughing with his jokes.

Boo passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. He is predeceased by his grandfather, James L. Johnson; grandmother, Pauline Green. Boo leaves to cherish his memory: his children: Marquis Griffin, Destinee Johnson, William D. Johnson, Will D. Johnson, Shyheim Greene, Phillip Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Younari Johnson, Israel Johnson and Jeremiah Johnson; one granddaughter, D’Mari Johnson; his parents, Shirley Johnson and William Green III; grandparents: Elizabeth Johnson, and William M. Green; two sisters, Chelaun Johnson and Rynette Baker; one brother, Antwan Green; two nieces, Sahniya V. Gutierres and Emiyah Smith; one nephew, De’Andre Thomas Jr.; one great nephew, Kaiden William Gutierres; a special friend, Yasmyne Wallace, seven aunts: Diane Johnson, Janet Johnson, Mary Lou Green, Rose Norma Green, Elizabeth Green, JoAnn Green, Deborah Ward (Al); five uncles: Anthony Johnson, Kelvin Johnson, Allen Johnson and Timothy Johnson; and a host of cousins, great cousins and friends.
