Obituary for Rebecca "Becky" "Cheryl" Hudson

Rebecca S. Hudson, aka “Cheryl”, aka “Becky”, was born August 8, 1955 in Georgetown, South Carolina to Clifton and Catherine Jackson. She attended James Madison High School. She also attended Bryant and Stratton College and Monroe Community College.

She worked at Lawyers Co-Op and managed a Holiday Inn Hotel, among other jobs, throughout her career. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, scratch-offs, and working with her plants.

Rebecca is predeceased by her husband, Anthony Hudson, Sr.; her parents, Clifton and Catherine Jackson; brother, Clifton Jr., and twin brother, Issac and a sister, Michelle Jackson.

Rebecca departed this life May 29, 2020 at Highland Hospital, leaving to cherish her loving memories: her children: Anthony and Michael Hudson and Monette and Monique Elsaw; two stepsons, Michael (Mooky) Greer and Michael (TWON) Wilson; siblings: Janet, Leverne (Betty), Winfred (Cynthia), and Brenda Jackson; one sister-in-law, Victoria; one brother-in-law, Victor Hudson; best friends, Narvilla Coley and Rita Jo Brown; twelve grandchildren: LaShana Barnes, Dre’Shawn, Anthony III, Ajai, twins, Aniyah and Amiyah Hudson, Timothy, TimMiah and Timmahj Brooks, Jamell, Janique and Jazire Hart; five great-grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She will be missed, but never forgotten. We celebrate this life that God lent us for 64 years.
