Obituary for Deva Marie Mathis
Deva Marie Mathis,55, of Rochester New York, died February 22,2020, at Highland Hospital
She was born October 7, 1964, in Rochester New York, to Milton and Ella (Mathis) Jenkins.
Deva attended Franklin High School in Rochester, NY. She continued her education after graduating high school early then joined the Army. Deva was the life of the party and brought happiness wherever she was. She will truly be missed her personality was one of a kind. She was smart, witty, caring and enjoyed entertaining. Her snappy personality is one that will be missed. She loved her kids and her grandkids brought her joy and happiness as she was often telling people about them.
She is survived by her Father Milton: Husband Ronald; Siblings, Darryl, Douglas and Caprisa; Children Brandon, Breanna (Ronnie) Blue, Alexis and Armani (Shaqueda), grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends that loved her as mom aunt/grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Ella Jenkins.
She will be having a celebration of life on Friday February 28, 2020 at the Millennium Lodge in Greece canal park from 5pm-10pm.
